Elinleticia Hogabo est une photographe suédoise dotée d’un talent fou. Sourde pendant 10 ans, elle entend maintenant grâce à un appareil, mais son travail garde la trace de ces années d’isolement, de contemplation peut être. Enfant, elle a failli se noyer plusieurs fois, ce qui explique sans doute sa fascination pour les êtres évoluants dans l’eau, une sorte de catharcis ?
En tout cas, ses photographies sont conçues comme de vrais tableaux qui ont la puissance je trouve de grands peintres, à mi-chemin entre les italiens de la Renaissance et les Préraphaélites.
J’ai été vraiment séduite par cette féminité sublimée par un univers sombre. Il y a beaucoup de délicatesse dans le traitement, comme pour rappeler le coté éphémère des êtres.

Elinleticia Hogabo is a Swedish photographer with a crazy talent. Deaf for 10 years, she can now hear thanks to a device, but her work keeps track of the years of isolation and contemplation maybe.
