Les sandales Pleat ont été conçues par un cordonnier/bottier formé chez les Compagnons du Devoir, Julien, et une chargée de communication et marketing, Solène. Tous deux issus de Lyon, ils se sont lancés dans l’aventure d’une chaussure qui deviendra l’indispensable accessoire des femmes astucieuses. Une alternative aux talons qui se glisse discrètement dans son sac de rangement et trouve sa place dans une besace ou un cabas qui nous accompagne la ville, à la mer ou la campagne.
Pleat sandals were designed by a cobbler / shoemaker who trained with the Companions of Duty, Julien, and a communications and marketing officer, Solene. Both from the city of Lyon in France, they embarked on the adventure of a shoe that will become the essential accessory for smart women. An alternative to heels that fits discreetly into its storage bag and in a shoulder or shopping bag that accompanies us downtown, near the sea or the countryside.

Lauréats du concours Step By Step organisé par le Mess Around en 2010, le duo de créateurs a lancé sa marque originale, Pleat, autour du concept de sandale pliable, faite de liens en jersey coloré et d’une semelle de cuir ou de gomme.
Très légères et surtout très compactes, ces sandales n’en demeurent pas moins très chic et confortables.
Un stand sera dédié au sandales PLEAT du 1er au 21 Juin prochain, aux Galeries Lafayette Haussmann de Paris. Cette visibilité étonnante pour une très jeune marque, résulte d’un vrai coup de coeur de la gente féminine pour ces nouvelles sandales !
