Zoé avait besoin d’un petit manteau pour le printemps/été. Je lui en ai cousu un, sur le modèle du magazine Ottobre Design Dark Days du 4/2015. Pour la taille, j’ai choisi du 104 pour ses 2ans et demi maintenant et 98 cm. Il est donc un peu grand mais lui servira aussi à la rentrée. Sur les photos, les poignets en bord cote sont donc remontés, c’est moins esthétique mais c’est pas trop grave !
Le patron est très beau, je cherchais exactement cette forme un peu longue et couvrante. La pose de la capuche a été une première, le rendu n’est donc pas parfait mais le sera pour une prochaine fois ! Je n’ai pas fait de modifications sur la patron, j’ai juste supprimé le cordon de serrage de la capuche. Normalement ce modèle de manteau a été conçu pour du softshell, mais j’ai choisi un jersey fin imprimé pandas de La Panda Love Fabrics  et un jersey plus épais molletonné et matelassé de Dresowka.

Zoe needed a little coat for spring / summer. So I sewed for her the model Dark Days from Ottobre Design magazine 4/2015. I chose the 104 size corresponding to her  2 years and a half. This coat is a little too big for her but never mind, she’ll wear it even on September and further. On these pictures the sleeves are rolled up, it’s not very aesthetic but practical.

This sewing pattern is very nice, I was looking for this triangle shape, with wide covering. It was the the first time I sewed a hood so it has imperfections, it’ll be better next time! I didn’t change anything on the sewing pattern, I just removed the drawstring on the hood. Normally this coat pattern is designed for softshell, but I chose a fine Panda printed jersey from La Panda Love Fabrics and a thicker fleece and quilted jersey from Dresowka.
