En ce moment, je rêve de voyage… Pas forcément à l’étranger mais en France, pour découvrir de belles régions sur un petit week-end, histoire de changer un peu d’air, faire un break en emmenant la puce car Paris, ça commence à suffire ! Cela fait maintenant 2 mois que j’ai repris le travail et la fatigue s’est bien accumulée donc je ne bouderais pas un peu de repos dans un bel hôtel et une chouette région.
J’admire mes amis qui partent sac au dos sans avoir planifié leur périple, mais je ne suis pas du tout de cette trempe là ! Je préfère de loin le confort de la certitude et des chaînes d’hôtel réputées car quitte à se faire plaisir, autant commencer par un bon sommeil et un cadre qui change du quotidien. Oui je sais, ce sont un peu des goûts de princesse, mais je ne le suis que quelques jours par an, alors j’en profite !
Lorsque j’ai été contactée par les Hôtels Mercure, cela tombait à point nommé. Ils proposent des séjours partout en France, qui peuvent aller jusqu’à 40% de réduction. Et du choix, il y en a : week-end bord de mer, week-end ville, week-end bien être, montagne, route des vins ou golf. Bon, pour ma part, on va oublier le golf et le vin vu que je ne bois pas. En revanche, je ne dirais pas non à un séjour au soleil dans le Sud de la France.
J’irais bien à Biarritz par exemple, pour profiter de la mer, visiter l’Aquarium que l’on dit très beau et assister au Festival des Arts de la Rue (du 29 Mai au 1er Juin). Si je ne peux pas y aller cette année, ce ne sera que partie remise car je suis sûre que ce Festival est magique et nous plairait beaucoup.

Sinon, les Sables d’Olonne ou Nice m’attirent aussi, je ne connais pas du tout cette partie de France. Faudrait y remédier !

Et pour celles et ceux qui voudraient monter sur Paris pour profiter de la capitale, il y a 2 lieux canon pour résider quelques jours : l’Hôtel Paris Montmartre Sacré Cœur, dans un quartier ultra touristique mais tellement romantique, sur les hauteurs; ou bien l’Hôtel Mercure Paris Saint-Lazare Monceau, entièrement rénové l’année dernière, situé à proximité des grands magasins du Boulevard Haussmann et des petits restaurants charmants du 17ème arrondissement.
Et vous, si vous aviez une destination en France pour changer d’air, ce serait où ?

For the moment, I dream to travel… not necessarily abroad, in France would be fine, to discover beautiful regions on a small weekend, just to get some fresh air with my baby girl, take a break from Paris that is getting on my nerves! It’s now two months I came back to work and tiredness has accumulated so I would really appreciate some rest in a nice hotel located in a nice area.
I admire my friends who go backpacking without having planned their trip, but I’m not like that at all! I’d rather prefer the comfort of famous hotel chains because all starts with a good sleep and a changing frame. Yes I know it’s a bit of princess’s taste, but I am one only a few days a year, so I take advantage of it!
When I was contacted by Mercure Hotels, it was timely. They offer trips throughout France, which can go up to 40 % off. And there is a lot of choice: seaside weekend, weekend in town, wellness weekend, mountain, wine route or golf. Well, for my part, we will forget the golf and wine because I do not drink. However, I would not say no to a holiday in the sun in the South of France.
I’d go to Biarritz for example, to enjoy the sea, visit the Aquarium that is said to be beautiful and attend the Festival des Arts de la Rue (29 May to 1st June). If I can not go this year, it will only be postponed because I’m sure it’s a magical Festival that would please us very much.
Otherwise, the Sables d’Olonne or Nice also attract me, I do not know anything about this part of France. This should change!
And for those who want to come to Paris, there are 2 fabulous places to stay for a few days: the Hôtel Paris Montmartre Sacré Cœur, in a super touristy area but so romantic on the heights; or the Hôtel Mercure Paris Saint-Lazare Monceau, completely renovated last year, located close to the department stores on Boulevard Haussmann and small charming restaurants in the 17th block.
